Missed-call text-back program · Effective October 18, 2026

1. The program

Midwest Made Consulting (a business name of Matthew T Wisse, Eau Claire, Wisconsin) operates phone numbers that answer missed calls by text — our own demo line, and lines we run for local service businesses such as plumbers. When you call one of these numbers and nobody picks up, you may get a text asking what you need, so the business can get back to you.

2. How you opt in

You start the conversation by calling the number. When a call isn't answered, a recorded greeting plays before anything is sent. It says, word for word:

"Sorry we missed your call at [business name]. Leave a message after the tone, or hang up and we will follow up by text shortly. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out."

On our demo line the greeting is: "Thanks for calling the Midwest Made Consulting demo line. Hang up now and you will get one text showing what a plumber's missed caller would get. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

By calling and hanging up after the greeting, you agree to receive texts about your call. The first text is about your call only and starts with the business name. If you text back, further messages are replies in that same conversation. We do not add you to any marketing list, and we do not send promotional texts under this program.

Midwest Made Consulting's demo line is (715) 601-6507. We show this number to plumbing business owners in our emails, which invite them to call it themselves to see how the service works. The invitation in our emails reads:

"Quickest way to see it: call (715) 601-6507 and let it ring out. You'll get the text a customer would get. (One text, two if you reply. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Details: midwestmadeconsult.com/demo.html)"

The same number and disclosures are published at midwestmadeconsult.com/demo.html.

Nobody is texted on the demo line unless they called (715) 601-6507 themselves and heard the demo greeting above. Each call gets one text, plus one follow-up only if the caller replies.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Typically one text per missed call, plus direct replies to anything you send us.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. We never charge you for texts.

5. How to stop

Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT) to any message. You will receive one confirmation and no further texts from that number. To start again, reply START.

6. Help

7. Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device.

8. Privacy

We do not sell, rent or share your phone number or text-messaging opt-in data with third parties, affiliates or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. Full details: Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to text a number after an update means you accept the updated terms. You can always reply STOP.
